Protection Against Water & Flooding
The Côte d’Azur in the south of France has repeatedly been hit by severe flooding in the past, causing not only immense material damage but also loss of life. To prevent such tragedies, the region has relied on Anhamm Spillbarriers since 2020. Installed in front of both public and private buildings, they have been instrumental in saving lives and effectively preventing property damage.
This customer video shows how the Spillbarrier completely seals off the ingress of floodwater, providing reliable protection. The speed at which the flap is activated is precisely matched to the volume of incoming water, ensuring a safe position above the water level at all times. Even in the case shown at the end, where an unauthorized person stood on the surface of the valve, its functionality and reliability were not compromised.
